ELMI 2008 in Davos

 

Dear Microscopists, Imagists, Experts in these fields, Engineers & Company representatives.
This year, the 8th European Light Microscopy Initiative meeting will be hold in the center of Europe in a neutral, non-European country. We will be very pleased to welcome you in Switzerland. The meeting will focus on challenges that everybody in the microscopy community faces every day: Large volume specimen imaging, protein movements in life cells, high throughput and its huge data sets, new methods in image processing, advanced techniques in microscopy. A big place will be given to workshops so you can come with your samples and images. A new workshop will concentrate on image analysis using ImageJ. Computers, softwares and microscopes will be installed for you and experts will be present.

We hope we will meet all of you in the congress center of Davos. The place was especially chosen in the spirit of ELMI : small, excellent and beautiful.
